Unfortunately I think there needs to be a major wake-up call before people and governments start doing something constructive about it.<br /><br />The US pulling out of the Paris Accord isn't good news but is hardly unexpected. But it's going to become increasingly difficult to deny Climate Change when it comes to your door and slaps you in the face - hard.<br /><br />Adaptability does indeed only go so far. Inevitably the rich countries will find such adaptation easier than the poorer nations - who honestly always get the messy end of the stick no matter what happens. Hopefully we'll have enough time to adapt enough before we actually address things and stop arguing about the detail.
