Resistance is character building.

As you can tell by now I'm quite taken with the 'V for Vendetta' poster series. I particularly like the use of colour in this one.

  1. That one is awesome!
It looks like those posters from Alfred Hitchcock movies--I'm thinking Vertigo.
I love how the daggers make the criss cross above her head.
Natalie Portman is a unique beauty and her participation in this movie is what gives me the most *hope* for it's greatness...

  2. They've really oomphed up the girlie's part in the stotyline for Natalie, and the bits I've seen have looked fantastic - don't expect pretty dresses & silly hairstyles though - she's as bald as a coot (what is a coot?) in this one:-)

Yup. Read that in SFX (where I expect you read it too). They thought that the girlie in the comic was a bit weak...

Wasn't Ms Portman bald at the Starwars premier because of this movie?

  6. I am so looking forward to this. Besides Portman looking awesome with a shaved-head, the movie looks like an updating of 1984 (ironically even having John Hurt in it). The fact that the Wachowski brothers are involved is also a bonus.

Me too - though trying not to get my hopes up too much [grin]. I like my movies dark & brooding and this looks just the ticket. It certainly has a good vibe about it. All we can do now is keep our fingers crossed.
