  1. Okay, I'm stealing this one and sending it to a friend. Deep truths are often clothed in jest.

  2. Angry, violent hate speech like this is going to make me stop reading your blog. Tone it down!

At least we can agree on some things....

Yet I don't see football teams flying planes into each other's stadia....

Oh, I might give you that metaphysics is a type of thought process and that it is possible to raise various metaphysical arguments that might contradict each other... but *critical thought*? Of what exactly? Arguments about how many angels can boogie on the head of a record needle?

Unfortunately we aren't free of supersition are we? Indeed just about every society is chocked full of it - some more than others. Also - although we have the *potential* to think and act rationally we far too often let other things influence how we think and what we do about it. However, I do think that a more rational approach to life would lead to a better life for many.

  7. That cartoon speaks volumes. I love it that it offended a religionist here too.

  8. I think that LB took some slight offence - but he usually does when I post anything anti-religious.....

  10. Hence 'slight' offence. [grin]

LB is OK actually. You know pretty much exactly where he's coming from.
