I love that book, probably my second favourite H.G. Wells story after the Time Machine.
I believe this is the part where the cover artist performs a miraculous hat-tricking, succeeding in ripping off both the Wolf-man AND the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
That novel is one of the ones I recently acquired! I've been thinking of starting "The First Men on the Moon".

I read "Dr Moreau" some time ago (its in the 'Classic' section if you want to check out the review).
