I really like this Quote:

I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without any purpose, which is the way it really is as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me.

Physicist Richard Feynman.

  1. Wonderful!

I can't count how many times I've been told that I, and everyone else, seek certain answers to certain questions.

The assumption is ingrained into certain people. I run into it a lot in discussions with theists.

Really, I'm not going to lose any sleep if I'm no a hundred percent certain about the origins of everything.

  2. I'm okay not knowing too. I like mysteries and surprises. I know what I believe, but I know I don't know it for a fact, and that's okay. I hate it when people insist that they know for a fact, what nobody can know.

  4. As soon as someone speaks of certainty I know they are speaking from ignorance... or at least I'm 98% sure of that.... [grin].

  5. Great quote. People being afraid of not knowing the answer is almost the whole reason for religion existing.
