We do seem to make stupid and untalented people rich and famous. Why is that? I have no idea why we would even think of doing it. Is it because the people who actually *deserve* this kind of attention make the rest of us feel inadequate? Whereas people like this make us feel smug and superior no matter how much she's paid?
