  1. Only if they love it too. I've had friends read my favorite book series (coming to t.v. In August) and some aren't moved like me, while others are blown away. I love the people who are blown away.

  2. Very true. It's a good icebreaker and I do love it when I hear the other person enthuse about a book I love - even more so when they see different things in it or things from different angles. Friendships start that way.

    That's why I always check out what other people are reading (impossible when they have a Kindle of course). It also gives me ideas of what's out there that I might have missed.... [grin]

  3. I have lots of books on my iPad, but I really prefer a paperback. I want to hold it, smell it, curl up someplace with it. I don't feel that way about electronic devices.

  4. When I was talking about this to a friend of mine (Kindle user exclusively) he said "Don't mention the smell". I responded that I like the 'heft' of a real book - definitely something you don't get with an electronic version.
