Cabled bridges are such an interesting concept. How on earth did someone think of it?(Then again, you could say that for a lot of things.)
I do love bridges. They're such an interesting concept and (often) an amazing piece of engineering technology. If I had my time over I think I'd like to have been a civil engineer.
