Okay, good. I was feeling really stupid. I asked M what she made of it and she said it was creepy. Any idea who the artist is, or if there's a name for it? Maybe somewhere out on the Internet there's some explanation for it.
The artists name is Willy Verginer. I think he's Dutch. This was one of his weirdest. Some of them look almost normal... almost.
As to understanding art - I'm not sure that you're always supposed to. This one just made me laugh out loud. Maybe the artist was going for that along with the shock value?
