i remember reading about it somewhere; they do indeed do it for fun, i believe.... or maybe there's a competitive component involved, possibly...
There seems to be a gender difference between the two 'sides' so I presumed that it was something to do with bonding. Of course, speaking from a position of ignorance, I could be completely wrong.
