I still remember a Physics question at around age 14 or so:
Given that the Moon is 252,088 miles away and the Speed of Sound is 767 mph how long would the noise of an explosion on the Moon take to reach the Earth?
Duh....! Sound doesn't travel through a vacuum... so we'd *never* hear it.... [grin] It was a trick question. But loads of my friends worked out the math too!!
