@ Mudpuddle: I have excellent hearing - inside my head. Outside... not so much. I have had my ears flushed out a few times though. That was an amazing experience the first time. My hearing was astoundingly good until my brain turned the volume back down from 11.
@ Fred: Often true - except when either the listener, talker (or both) are too easily influenced. Luckily I have more than one voice in my head so there's always voting going on which tends to even things out a bit.
true; but only applicable if your hearing is good; mine's been deteriorating quite a little bit the last few years...
