I think history shows that too LITTLE knowledge is a VERY dangerous thing. Not sure if you can actually have too much knowledge - except when you have so many alternatives that you can't decide what to do - so do nothing. But that's more lack of decisiveness than information overload.

Indeed. Going up against the Catholic church at that time could certainly be detrimental to your health! But I guess speaking Truth to Power always is.
