Okay, so yeah Henry II was a great king, but Eleanor was bad-ass! And in charge when Richard was off playing soldier. And she hand-delivered the ransom herself - the ransom she raised by traveling all over the kingdom. And she came out of retirement to try and help John not screw up too badly.
