@ Mudpuddle: Impressive. I have 8 full height (about 6') and two half height (3'). All of them are covered in books (two deep and stacked on top) plus various piles of books around the house. I really need a library annex!

that's what mine looks like! well, almost... we've got 19 stand alone shelves 6-8' high... not to brag but... well, yes... welcome to mudpuddle u.
