@ Mudpuddle: Oh, I know old 'Doc' Smith WELL. He was my Intro to SF/reading obsessions! A friend of my brother lent me a copy of 'Triplanetary' when I was in my early teens looking bored... NEVER looked back since!! [lol]
that's about when i discovered his books: pretty exciting stuff in my teens!
