I took it as your average Monster (not a *bad* person really when you get to know him) playing a game of 'Hide & Pounce' with his new kitten.....
That monster has no idea that cute little kitten has massive fangs and claws and would not take kindly to being woken up!
Very true! My kitten was VICIOUS when she got going. I was covered in scratches before she learned (mostly) to limit claw & teeth damage!
