@ Both: There are some weird improvised face shields out there! Haven't seen any 'in the flesh' though, just on TV/YouTube.
Oddly these masks are 'wearable architecture' by Haus-Rucker-Co of Vienna, as part of the Environment Transformer project in 1968. Amazing what you can find out through Google!!
