@ Stephen: Stupefaction has never been easier, true but it's OK from time to time. It's just a very bad habit to acquire or, even worse, need! My YouTube visits are (usually if I can resist the 'rabbit hole') generally educational - mostly History videos.
@ Mudpuddle: I think we might have had one something similar back in the 70's - maybe. My TV broke YEARS ago and I just didn't replace it. I haven't missed it in the least.
Not just that box...we have to watch out for our PCs these days, too. All to easy to stupefy ourselves with endless scrolling, videos, and gaming!
