Interesting, wasn't it! Something more to explore there I think! Plus I had the very same thought about 'Master & Margarita'. I thought I already had it but just checked. The book I was thinking of is actually 'Death & the Penguin' by Andrey Kurkov. I'm finding the whole Cold War YouTube series most watchable. I've learnt quite a lot from it.
Very cool! I had no idea about the variety of illicit translations. Will have to look for "Master and Margarita"!
