Maybe that's why Fiction was first invented - someone wanted to see what a world that made sense looked like?

I suppose its the same with myths & legends - the imposition of a meaningful narrative on top of seemingly chaotic , mysterious or random events....
And since the developped over so many centuries, no wonder they are the way they are.
