You've really got to watch out for them. Not sure if they *bite* though. Never got close enough to find out.
Their danger isn't the bite, it's the obstruction. I'm tempted to learn the skills necessary to create a mobile game where the player is navigating a grocery store, and phone zombies are the primary obstacle.
It IS quite fun seeing one TOTALLY absorbed in their phone - and then walk into something. You feel almost sorry for them - almost.
