Things are good here. I'm always ready for Christmas; all I have to do is tell Alexa to turn on the Christmas tree. We have a small tree in the corner that we just leave up all year. It seems I've misplaced my Buddy Christ figure from Kevin Smith's Dogma; I need to find it and place it back under the tree.Are you ready for Christmas?
Funnily I leave some of my Christmas hanging things - penguins, snowmen & Santa up all year. Why not, right? I just need to plug in the tree and it's sorted. Might do that today. Slowly stockpiling food & drink and then I'll vegetate for the Christmas/New Year period.
Out with 'the Guys' for our traditional Christmas curry tomorrow. It's been THREE Years!
That sounds nice. We've only been out to eat a few times in the last three years. My wife and I are among the very few in our friends and family circle who haven't had Covid or even a Covid scare. Heck, we haven't even had the sniffles.
One of my friends, who's my 'Uber' on Friday, had Covid just recently as did a work friend I was @ the cinema with last week. I'm still Covid free (as far as I know!) and am now looking at almost 3 years cold free. I tell you, retirement *rocks*.
