    To be fair, I never wear coats. I wear hoodies and that is good enough for me! But I grew up in Minnesota with amazing, heavy, terrible winters, so...

  2. I'm running low on winter related posts so.... as this made me laugh when I saw it.

    It is very much what you're used to though. As a Northerner living in the South I do laugh at what people call 'cold'. Plus I feel sorry for several Indian families living near me. Our weather over the last decade or so has been pretty mild - but you still see them wrapped up in 'puffer' jackets when the rest of us are walking round in T-shirts.... Bless....

  3. I grew up in Wisconsin and live near Lake Michigan in Chicago, so the winters can be very cold. As a result I'm layered up when I'm outside, especially when walking by the lake or waiting for a bus.

  4. It makes me laugh whenever I see people in heavy coats when it is like 40-50 degrees. It should not because it's mean, but it does.

  5. @ James: I'm definitely a layer person - though I did pick up a puffer jacket recently which is toasty warm with only a jumper on underneath.

    @ Sarah: I do look at peoples dress sense sometimes and wonder: really?
