There's definitely a LOT of mysteries still to be resolved around Stonehenge. It's an interesting place - plus there's LOTS of other stone circles and stuff around. I guess they didn't have that much to do with their spare time without TV and the Internet...... [grin]
Days? That would depend on how many you want to visit & in which countries... There's LOTS here but also throughout the UK and, of course, throughout Europe too. Could be a FUN holiday... [grin]
Been to Stonehenge twice now. The first time I was a bit disappointed because I thought it'd be much bigger. The second time was MUCH better & I hired an electronic guide to talk me through what I was seeing.
