No reason at all why Arthur can't be gender swapped. There's quite a few warrior queens from history - my favourite in Boudica who almost kicked the Romans into the sea and burnt London to the ground. She's LONG been a hero of mine.
The only issue I'd have with Arthur being a woman is the name. AFAIK there's no feminine version of Arthur.... Is there?
