'The Mummy' is a *great* film. It's up there with 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'. Haven't seen 'The Whale', but I've heard about it. Doesn't really sound like my kind of thing....
My siblings and I watched The Mummy for the first time a couple of years ago. We were going through a terrible time, and it was the medicine we needed... we couldn't stop giggling at all the cheesy parts, it was so much fun!
Definitely agree its a fun film. I do like 'comedies' that are generally played 'straight'. It makes them even funnier. It's also just so.... NICE! I hesitate to use the word 'wholesome' - but there it is! [lol]
