Interesting...! Apparently Waterloo is one of the most examined battles in history - but still no one knows *exactly* what happened hour by hour. We know *parts* of the battle very well, but not the whole thing. Too many perspectives I think.... which lead to diverging opinions of how the day went.
Just saw a new Waterloo book out -- "Casualties".
