Carbs & sugar are definitely temporary fillers... For anything more you need FAT and maybe some protein.... [grin] Pizza is good - just without the pineapple!! Peperoni is still my favourite, even if I can't eat it any more.
I arrived late at a party once and the only pizza that remained was cheese (what is the point?) and ham + pepperoni. I gave it a shot out of desperation and was converted. I've found it pairs best with spicey ingredients, though.

DeleteIn my experience, carbs alone won't do it. Gotta have fat, salt, and sugar. Hence my love of thin-crust jalapeno & pineapple pizza.
