This movie terrified the crap out of me when I saw it as a child. I was somewhere between 7 and 10 years old. It was on the Saturday afternoon Monster Movie Matinee. I didn’t recognize the actor from the side but his mouth and jaw area looked familiar to me. I looked it up so I won’t ruin the guessing for anyone else.
One of my all time fave movies. Absolutely LOVE it - despite some dodgy SFX. Great story & sometimes creepy as hell!! I can imagine seeing it at such a young age could mentally scar you!!
The actor is Leonard Nimoy in an uncredited role despite actually having a speaking part. The movie is 'Them!' from 1954 where giant ants threaten Los Angeles after being mutated by nuclear testing in the desert. One of my all-time favourite movies.

DeleteNo idea. I just asked hubby who enjoys watching this kind of movies but he doesn't know, either.
