They are a difficult nation to get your head around...! That's why one of my investigation projects is called USA: WTF. Strange people! [grin] I think I have (mostly) managed to get rid of one illusion though. I no longer think of them as simply Europeans with funny accents... There's just too many differences between us to think that any longer.
Maybe I can find some answers for BOTH of us [grin]. I am intending to read some stuff prompted by the recent election. First one will be started tomorrow.... Review in about a week as my review 'pile' is at rock bottom ATM.
I hope so because it's exhausting. Like, they're not even just voting for their own interests, but voting for someone who will make life worse for people they hate. Actually, there's the answer. Gross.
