Not exactly sure when this picture was taken, but the final model of the site (this *might* be it) was produced in March 1966. My 'knowledge' of the buildings is scant to be honest......... I see that the *idea* for a World Trade Centre goes back to 1943!!!! and that initial planning for the site started in 1961.
I had no idea the planning of the twin towers went that far back.
