Well, hubby is very generous and often suggest that I take all the books that I am contemplating. Much to the surprise of the salespeople who don't see this very often, apparently.
Nice to have an understanding partner in life. I remember once on holiday with my ex that we found a fun little bookstore in Yorkshire. After a good look around we left with 23 books between us - and I don't think I even had most of them! Shame that she wasn't a keeper (or that *I* wasn't...!) [lol]
What a shame. She sounds nice. Anyway, luckily we can afford it. I can see that people complain if the partner spends much needed money for the household on their hobby.
