Oh yeah, I read with my top off all the time. You know, the very first picture has a context, it's believable, this one isn't. Why would she be sitting there without a top, yet in heavy jeans?
It does seem a tad unrealistic in that sense. I still like it though - which is probably why I bought the print some years ago and hung it on my wall - along with several others by the same artist. I love her photo-realism....
Those jeans would be warm though if she's trying to cool off or something.....
