I really like the optimistic futurism of that era's designs (50's and 60's). For obvious reasons, we lost a lot of that in the gritty realism of the Vietnam War, Watergate, etc.
I always loved that building at LAX it practically symbolises the confidence of the 1960's. The car is just beautiful. 'Nuff said.
