I'm having a very indulgent time so far. I spent the whole of yesterday - pretty much - playing WoW and getting my Mage to level 90. It was a big of a slog but I was very pleased to make it.
As to reading - one book down so far with another about a 1/3 of the way through. I've bought myself a book for Christmas (treated myself to a hardback) and I have a book related T-shirt care of my friend but no other book purchases yet. I'll hit Amazon after New Year [rubs hands].
Sounds like you're having a great holiday so far. We've done the parties, dinners, shopping, and Christmas here, now I'm working on prepping my genocides class.
I do like my self-indulgent times. It's not often that I get such a very extended one, so 19 days of basically me, me, me is fine - with me!

Ditto. Had my party (left early when the pink furry hand-cuffs came out and people started uploading to Facebook), saw the new Hobbit movie and had some food with friends and even managed a micro book shop.
