For a peaceful organisation Star Fleet did shoot a lot of 'people'.... [grin]But ST:OS was a huge influence on my formative years and I have a deep affection for it... no matter how cheesy it was at times.
It has a charm the other shows can't match, like when a shuttle has landed on the planet and one of the away team pauses to help a lady away-team member down.
Gotta love the 60's.
