Yes, I understand that there are presently 3 hurricane's in the Gulf area with another one forming. I think this year is going to be a bumpy ride and a bumper crop.... Time to move to high ground I think.
Thankfully things like that hardly ever happen hear despite the weather being our favourite topic of conversation!

@ V V: The extreme events are, as far as I can tell, pretty much in line with predictions of global climate scientists. I'm afraid, for a while at least, we're just going to have to get used to it.
