i've read a lot of Gardner and enjoyed almost all of it... but not this one. i don't know how many books he wrote, but it was a lot... the ones about Kool and Lam are the best, imo...
Prolific just doesn't cover it does it!!!! Oddly I'm not familiar with him.. Maybe I need to change that?
he's pretty much a formulaic author: if you like the equation, he's terrific; if you don't, it's awful...
