When I was young, Mom would say it was time for bed and I would always say, "Okay, I have to get to a stopping point"...and then I would read another chapter. But Mom is a bookworm too, so she always knew what I was really saying when I said 'stopping point'.
I KNOW....! Back in my very callow youth I was a BIG TV watcher.... Then, in my early teens, a friend of my brother gave me an E E 'Doc' Smith book to read.... The rest, as they say, is obsession.
