I grew up in inner-city Liverpool so we didn't see much in the way of exotic birds (weirdly, for someone growing up in a city, the sound of seagulls always reminds me of home!). But I do love the common house/hedge sparrow. I call them the working class of the bird world. Tough and industrious little buggers.... [grin]
delightful... i wish the wrens around here would do that... but they've got too much sense...
