@ James: One reason I got my cat - essentially handed to me - was that my friends landladies cat used to roll over and present its tummy every time I visited him. His landlady said this was very peculiar behaviour for him - the cat rather than my friend - and that I must really be a cat person (which I am). Odd things cats - even at the best of times!
You won't catch a cat rolling over, but maybe a little purring now and then.
