  1. @ Both: Being told NOT to do something - without a decent reason I can buy into (personally I TOTALLY hate: Because I TOLD you not to!) - is pretty much a red flag to me. But I'm fully aware of the possibility of manipulation to GET me to do it. YEARS of experience with an older brother... [grin]

  2. Yes, as an only child, I quite understand this as well because I was kind of used to just doing what I wanted anyway. I was what you might call 'headstrong' as a child, which you may or may not believe...lol

  3. @ Sarah: I always took 'headstrong' as a compliment, much like being called 'willful'. It just means people are jealous of you having a strong personality and knowing your own mind.
