@ Mudpuddle: Most definitely. I suspect that a lot of the disenchantment with romance comes from movies.

Romance movies are wholly unrealistic and should come with a mental health warning - just like Facebook posts! Romance IRL is nothing like the Hollywood version so will *always* be disappointing. Of course *realistic* romance movies just wouldn't sell seats or popcorn so.... [grin]
@ Mudpudlle: Agree on the 'smarts'. I'm just a little concerned (as always!) that some of the posts here can be a little..... full on... and don't want to frighten her away. Hopefully she'll reappear and we can have some interesting chats... [grin]
