A little before my time but I feel your pain... [grin] I still regret never having a 'Johnny 7' toy - it was a gun (essentially) with 7 separate components. My parents just couldn't afford it.
Dick Tracy was a staple of the Sunday Tribune comics when I was growing up.
@ James: Tracy is someone I'm aware of more than had experience with. I did get the reference when I saw the cartoon though... [grin]
