@ Stephen: Oh, I could definitely live without Winter - though I am quite fond of some snow. Nice to have Summer though - just taking its time this year. Most of May has been cool, overcast and windy plus a fair bit of rain and the odd day or so of 40mph+ winds........

I would gladly trade you some of our Chicago Summer heat and humidity. One alternative we have is a brisk jump in the lake.
