I used to have a cartoon stuck to my filing cabinet at work. One of the characters was holding a glass of water. He said: A Pessimist would say that the glass is half empty. An optimist would say something naïve and annoying.
Hah!
What can I say? I'm a dyed in the wool sceptic and cynic from WAY back.
Correction: it is a picture of a glass of water. I will die on this hill!
