Lower Decks is funny, but one has to think of it as something like a vulgar comedy set in the ST universe rather than ST itself. I enjoy it FAR more than STD and the Stewart-show-that-will-not-be-named.
Only watched Series 1 of ST:LD so far. Yes, amusing stuff. Both making fun of and a homage to the live-action shows. Nice puns too... I liked it when one of the crew mentioned 'TOS' in reference to Kirk & crew. He explained it as 'The Old Ship' or some such. I did chuckle.
Strange New Worlds is REAL Trek. I can happily forget the other spin-offs....
At least it's not the holodeck..
