It's a tree cleverly disguised as a tank. No timbermen would dare touch it!
I'm guessing that the engine had been removed as it was useful to someone. The scrap value of the tank must've been too low to have it removed. I've often thought about what they did with all the dead vehicles in WW2. Apparently they used *some* of them as planters.... [grin]
