I never watched the series of House, but have enjoyed the YouTube clips. I think he would've made an awesome 'Who'. Kinda like a modernised Tom Baker.... [grin]
I *tried* to get into the 'new' ones.... I even tried again (sometimes) when they changed Doctor.... But.... It never felt 'right'. I think it was the writers fault generally.........
In the Star Trek Voyager relaunch novels, there is a character named Doctor Hugh Cambridge who, the author says, is explicitly modeled on House.
